Sage Diner in Onley

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced food that tastes pretty good. Family friendly. The seats and other aspects of the physical building could use some maintenance. Overall, a good experience.

Nice diner. Not fancy but it doesn't have to be. Poached eggs cooked perfectly.

I was traveling through the area and decided I did not want to stop at a fast food restaurant for dinner. The Sage Diner came into view and I decided I would give it a try. I am glad I stopped. This staff are so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The prices are low compared to the massive size portions that you get. For a traveler in this area I fully recommend the Sage Diner!

Good eats, good people

Very nice atmosphere! The portion sizes were pretty large (I got a take-out box and had lunch the next day too!) and the food was great! We stumbled upon Sage Diner by accident coming back from Cape Charles and I'm glad we did!

Great food and service everything I'm in town to visit family. The server's are pleasant and greeting you with a smile. The food is always fresh and on time, prices are fair.Ordered the chicken and rice soup w/ a grill cheese and ham sandwich! Yummy!

This little hole in the wall wasn't to bad at all. The food was great, and the portions were outstanding. I wish that I could remember our waitresses name but it's really not coming to me at the moment. Either way she was great, extremely easy to talk to, and was quick. The food was fairly tasty but could've used just a tad bit more seasoning. Other than that it's a decent place to stop at if your on the eastern shore and reasonably priced.

Stopped by this restaurant on the way to Virginia Beach and it was nice and peaceful. Its very spacious inside. The staff was very nice.

Husband loved his fried livers and New England chowder. I got a patty melt and fries. I have never had this made with mushrooms before. Hardly any onion also. Won't order it again . if I want a mushroom Swiss burger I would have ordered one. First time I have ever gotten something from Sage I wasn't happy about.

Hostess was very nice. Waiter was courteous and very attentive. Food was hot and delicious

The service will be quick, the server was pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious and the desserts looked great had to get it to go.

Made a stop on the way back from vacation. Easily fit a family of 9. Everyone was happy with the comfort food after a long raid trip.

Absolutely amazing...food was incredible and service was outstanding

Stopped in for some quick eats. Diner food junkies unite! Drop this place on your must have stops. There was an all you can eat buffet. Turkey ribs chicken. Home made stuffing that rivals my own. Green beans mashed potato and a selection of soups. I had the crab bisque. So glad I did. Prompt courteous waitress my glass was never empty.

The food was not good, eggs were very dry, scrambled and omlettes which also lacked taste. The waffles were awful, regular and sweet potato, you could not taste any sweet potato only seasoning and grease. The home fries had no seasoning, onions and peppers. The only thing my son ate was the bacon, he loves waffles but after just a taste he pushed it aside and complained about the home fries as well.

This cute little diner has a bit of everything on their menu and it’s affordable and delicious. Great place to bring the kids. The waitress was super friendly and fast and just the sweetest thing! This is our go to place for a quick family meal.

First visit to the Sage Diner. It is a local area restaurant. We stopped for breakfast on our way to Virginia Beach. There were a lot of people in the restaurant, which is a good thing. We had omelettes that were very good. Our waitress made sure our coffee cups were always filled with hot coffee. I would definitely recommend Sage .

The food was very good, especially the soup. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind. Great place to stop.

On our way down to Myrtle Beach S.C decided to stop late in the drive down from NH for some breakfast. I haven't had a better breakfast at a diner. This place was awesome. Great service and homey atmosphere. Definitely a worthy stop for a great meal

Great service and large portions.. Delicious food.

Top notch on service. Food was GOOD with local, fresh vegetables and local clams. Only,downside is womens restroom was,very dirty and run down. But saw their former location had burned down. So they are trying to reestablish business. They deserve to succeed.

Amazing service and amazing food. Our portions were huge and our waitress was so nice, I wish I could remember her name. Definitely the best hamburger steak I've ever had. I can't wait for a reason to head that way again so I have an excuse to eat there.

Good place for breakfast. Lots to choose from. Good coffee. We stop here when heading to Virginia Beach VA.

Service was not so bad. But, the steak was too tough.

Very cozy side room available for meetings of small groups. I used this to have a small family reunion. It was very nice

First time customer...real turkey on the turkey club n the pies where awesome very happy with the take out service
